Intensive Outpatient Program

Your journey is our mission in which you have our total support.

About Our

INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT PROGRAM (IOP)

IOP is designed to help clients with relapse management, establish support mechanisms, as well as provide coping mechanisms and strategies without having to stay in our clinic under 24/7 supervision.

What To Expect During Our

IOP

Intensive outpatient programs are useful for those who need help with substance use disorders and therapy, but also cannot leave behind their work, school, or other life commitments to stay at a residential or inpatient facility. With IOPs, clients still get the intensive care they need while maintaining their lifestyle. Participating in the Intensive Outpatient Program entails group and individual therapy each week (typically 10 to 12 hours per week), plus encouragement to enroll in a 12-step program such as Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA). Clients will typically visit our site at least three to four times a week.

The Benefits of Our

Intensive Outpatient Clinic

IOP benefits include assistance in employment, further developing social skills, self-discovery, and finding support groups. Additionally, if the client is unable to attend in-person treatment, MBI offers virtual IOP under our Teletherapy Services.
